95 sqm.

We were approached to design an apartment for a couple in their golden years, focusing on creating a spacious and functional public area. The original layout had the master bedroom in the center, which lacked storage and a proper bathroom. We reconfigured the space by expanding the living room and turning the old bedroom into a walk-in closet. The new master bedroom was relocated to a more private section, with a direct entrance to the bathroom. This created a luxurious suite for the couple and a living room large enough to host their entire family. Since the homeowner loves to cook and entertain, we also focused on the kitchen. We cancelled the adjacent service room to create a large L-shaped kitchen with one wall stretching over 5 meters and the other over 4 meters, in addition to a 3-meter island. One of our main goals was to create plenty of counter space and storage. To create a cohesive feeling, we unified the entrance, living room, and kitchen, which are all within a single space, through a shared design language. We created a "gate" at the entrance that is a direct continuation of the kitchen's design and materials.
