aa.d apartment.

or yam 2024

130 sqm.

A couple sought our help in designing their new apartment, with a special emphasis on the communal spaces. The living room in the apartment was quite deep. Our aim was to pull the sofa away from the wall without giving the impression of it being "floating" or exposed, while leaving a long, bare wall in the background. We designed a metal library that serves as an anchor for the living room design in the center of the space, allowing a glimpse into the kitchen and providing a platform for the clients' books and accessories. By detaching the seating from the wall, we created a circular movement around the sofa, allowing us to cover the entire wall, from floor to ceiling. The covering features an embossed pattern in a matching tone to the wall, creating a subtle, almost imperceptible texture that complements the flow of movement into the space.
